Rowing intervals at Fringe usually produce one of two reactions:

Pure suffering.

Or…

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝘂𝘆.

Smiling.
Cruising.
Like this is the best part of his day.

Meanwhile the rest of the class is somewhere between
“why are my lungs on fire?”
and
“how many intervals are left?”

Same workout.

Unexpected event at Fringe this week:

𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼 𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝘀.

Because apparently regular squats weren’t hard enough.

Same depth.
Same timing.
Same silent agreement that neither one was going to be the reason it fell apart.

Not today.

𝟮𝟲.𝟮 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

This one is a 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿.

Overhead lunges.
Snatches.
Pull-ups that escalate quickly.

Pull-ups → Chest-to-bar → Ring muscle-ups.

The clock stays the same.
The challenge keeps climbing.

Some people will chase the leaderboard.
Some people will chase their first chest-to-bar.
Some will simply refuse to quit before the cap.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻.

One workout.
One community.
Everyone pushing a little further than they expected.

It doesn’t go viral.

It’s built one class at a time.

This month 𝟲𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝟭𝟮+ 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 and earned their place in the Alpha Pack.

Early mornings.
Long work days.
Busy schedules.

And they still walked through the door.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲.

𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵.

Meanwhile, the bike rider is questioning every life decision that led to this interval.
