Let's give a very special congratulations to the August Employee of the Month, Marie Angelina Rene!🎉🥳

Born and raised in Haiti, Marie moved to Maryland in 2006. After earning her CNA, she came to Harmony Hall in 2018, attracted by the delightful atmosphere, the wonderful residents, and her supportive co-workers. Marie says that Harmony Hall truly feels like home ❤️.

Marie is a lifelong learner and has plans to further her career into becoming a registered nurse🎓. In her free time, Marie enjoys working out, biking, bowling and spending quality time with her husband and her child. Thank you Marie for all you do, you are truly a one-of-a-kind 🤩.

Thank you to Lior and Hannah Leigh of the Duo Amelior for giving our residents an absolutely amazing show!🎻🎶

Our residents enjoyed an hour of classical, jazz, and pop music played on piano and viola. The talent they demonstrated was absolutely impeccable.

Harmony Hall truly lives up to its name because of local live talent like Duo Amelior. Music is a universal language and we always love to listen! ❤️

Can we get a special Happy 100th Birthday to the amazing Jerry Musser?! 🎂🎆

Over the weekend, we celebrated Jerry's 100th birthday—and boy, was it a birthday bash! We had amazing food made specially in-house by our talented culinary team, a beautiful birthday cake, and fun times all around.

We absolutely adore Jerry here at Harmony Hall.❤️ She's always smiling and quick with a joke. Even at 100 years old, Jerry stays active and social—you can often find her joining in on activities or chatting it up with her friends.

We were so happy to see her surrounded by her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. It was an honor to celebrate this milestone with you, Jerry—and we can’t wait for the next party! 🎉

Today is Jon Sweadner's 10 year work anniversary at Harmony Hall!🥳

On this day in 2015, Jon started the first steps of his Harmony Hall journey. With a witty sense of humor and a can-do attitude, Jon quickly became a favorite among our residents and staff!

From Dining, to EVS, to now being our Concierge Director, Jon has done it all and knows how to get a job done right! We absolutely love Jon and we're lucky to have him as such a big part of our Harmony Hall family.

Chelsea McCartin, Harmony Hall's Director of Sales, got a sneak preview of our chef specialty this month! 😋

Our own, Louisiana style Shrimp and Grits, cooked fresh and in-house by our talented Culinary staff. 🍤🤤 We'd describe the taste to you, but Chelsea does an amazing job herself. ❤️

Stay tuned for next week as Chef White goes over the process of making the Shrimp and Grits so you can try it for yourself at home! 👨‍🍳

It’s time to PUMP! YOU! UP! 💪

It’s Friday, which means Bev is back to share some weightlifting tips to keep our muscles strong and our bones healthy! 🏋️‍♀️

Weightlifting isn’t just for building strength — it also helps improve bone density, boost cardiovascular health, and even lift your mood. No wonder Bev always has a smile on her face! 😄

That's right, we're getting festive in the heat next Tuesday (in our air-conditioned lobby)! We got word that Santa is leaving his vacation home in the South Pole to come up and party with us at Harmony Hall—plus, the King of Rock and Roll will be playing some of his classic hits! 🕺⛄

As always, our dedicated culinary elves will be making some delicious food! 😋

We're also giving out prizes in our 50/50 raffle, with all proceeds going to a great cause: the Alzheimer's Association! 💜
