Even if you start feeling better, always finish your antibiotics unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
Why this matters:
⢠Stopping early can allow bacteria to survive and come back stronger
⢠Increases antibiotic resistance
⢠Infection may return and be harder to treat
šØ Stop the medication and contact your doctor right away if you have signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
⢠Hives or rash
⢠Itching
⢠Swelling of the lips, tongue, face, or throat
⢠Trouble breathing or wheezing
⢠Severe dizziness
ā ļø Important reminder:
An upset stomach, mild nausea, or diarrhea is not an allergic reaction.
These are common side effects and donāt usually mean you should stop the medication ā talk to us or your doctor first!
