Feeling grateful lovelies❤️:
Yesterday 06/08/2023:
I and spouse attended moving on ceremony for our 5th grader. I then same day had to go into surgery to have margins cleaned up from a rare malignant(cancerous) tumor I had removed in February..
I am so thankful to Head of Oncology at Hopkins and Head of Plastics as well and amazing support surgical and diverse team. Everything went amazingly…My anesthesiologist was retiring and I had the pleasure of being his final case at John’s Hopkins❤️..
Darlings, if you engage in a toxic, oppressive, racially discriminatory environment daily, stress can harm your health. My hope is we will eradicate racism one day and I believe DEI initiatives are so helpful..
Please take care of yourselves and I am so happy to be here❤️❤️❤️

Hi Lovies❤️:
Did you miss me? It is incredible the things I have endured and the times I wanted to post yet refrain: I am naturally discreet however I have to share some highlights as well lowlight updates ❤️..
Firstly, I am So proud of our son Jay pictured, our 5th grader who knows racism, discrimination, retaliation and disparate treatment in access denial..❤️..
We have had some highlights as well lowlights.
We have seen the current principal lie in open court. White male Karen, threatening to call the police just from my speaking up and I said please do..He physically tried to harm me. I was granted an interim restraining order against him and when it was not extended by a bias judge, I appealed to another who maybe less bias yet I went Pro Se. I represented myself.
We have endured a white student spitting on our son and Still we rise and show up..
I am so proud of how resilient our sons are despite institutional racism, bias and discrimination their Mom being retaliated against as well as themselves.
Bathroom access denial almost took us out yet still we rise and continue.
I am so happy to report that I helped another black student become reinstated after being kicked out of school..Who will you put yourself on the line for if not our children? We need support and help as black women on the front lines yet some of these organizations are silent..They run scared.. ❤️..
Black Parents and Black Lives in dominant white spaces suffering racism in silence and out loud, ‘I salute you.’ I empathize and pray you will lean in and not run from spaces you are entitled to have access❤️..Even when you feel afraid, Speak, Write. Love and remain strong and grateful. You are a Force. Do not give up. ‘We Labor into rest.’
Our son continues to play the cello beautifully..Onward and upward to Middle School🙌🏼❤️❤️❤️..
I had to give his Stringed teacher her flowers because she is truly gifted despite being led by ‘Karens.’ I am Thankful ❤️
This is my life’s work..My most important work and I am blessed to serve in this capacity ❤️..
