CHW Program Learning Series

This digital learning series is designed to equip public health departments and CHW-supporting organizations with strategies for CHW integration, program evaluation, and sustainability. Developed by CHW and ally experts, the series consists of four modules, each with four lessons.

The Modules

2 - CHW Standards - Introduces the National C3 Council’s core roles and competencies
3 - CHW Research and Evaluation - CHW-CRE promotes participatory, CHW-led approaches
4 - CHW Financial Sustainability - Introduces envision’s invaluable Financial Sustainability Toolkit
envision created these in collaboration with the Center for Community Health Alignment (CCHA), the National Council on CHW Core Consensus Standards (C3 Council), and the Community Health Worker Center for Research and Evaluation (CHW-CRE).

Want to strengthen your CHW network?

Join us for an interactive webinar exploring how regional Community Health Worker (CHW) networks come to life — from concept to connection. Learn why regional associations matter, how they strengthen local CHW leadership, and what steps your region can take to build or enhance your own network. We’ll share real lessons from our journey, highlight key benefits of collaboration, and guide you through a brief TA Needs Assessment to identify support areas that can help your organization grow.

Who Should Attend:
CHW leaders, association staff, public health partners, and anyone interested in building strong, sustainable regional networks.

Key Takeaways
• Understand the purpose and impact of regional CHW networks
• Hear lessons learned from the development process
• Identify potential areas of technical assistance for your organization

We hope you’ll join us for this conversation as we continue building stronger, more connected CHW communities across the region. Whether you’re just starting your network or strengthening an existing one, this session will offer practical insights, shared experiences, and actionable next steps to support your growth. We’re excited to learn with you, hear your perspectives, and move this work forward together.

Last week, the Center for Community Health Alignment hosted our 2025 CHAI and CCOSC Partner Convening, bringing together partners from across the state to discuss the critical work that has been accomplished through Community Health Workers Changing Outcomes in South Carolina (CCOSC) and continues to be carried out through the Community Health Alignment Initiative (CHAI).

Held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History in Columbia, the full-day convening included a presentation of evaluation findings, facilitated discussions on community resources and networking, sustainability action planning at the team, regional, and statewide levels, and opportunities for reflection and self-care. CHWs from the across the Palmetto State collaborated to strengthen alignment, share lessons learned, and advance sustainable, community-centered approaches to improving health across South Carolina.

We’re grateful for the partnership, insight, and commitment that made this convening a success. Visit our website to learn more about CHAI and CCOSC https://loom.ly/XzvFAgk
