Ashley Young, M.A.- Counselor/Therapist

Ashley Young, M.A.- Counselor/Therapist It’s a privilege to be a part of one's therapeutic process and to bear witness to your successful and positive change.

As a therapist, I provide a non-judgmental and safe place that allows you to process your feelings, identify healthy coping skills, and maintain an environment that allows us to work together to find your way through difficult times. My scope of work includes, but is not limited to, working with individuals suffering from depression; addressing emotional growth and development, conflict resolution, anxiety, blended family conflict, and sexual trauma; and establishing effective communication. Finding inner healing is a journey, and I hope that you will take me along with you. On a personal note, I'm a proud Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, giving back to the community, and enhancing my gardening skills. Started Counseling: 2008

My family recently experienced a great tragedy, and during this difficult time I have been reminded of the power of friendship and community.

Today, I want to express deep gratitude for my friend, Ta**us, who stepped in without hesitation to provide clinical supervision for my team. Your support means the world to me and ensures that our clients continue receiving the highest level of care.

Grateful for friendship, grateful for community, and grateful for the people who show up when it matters most. 💙

It seems that every time tragedy strikes, we immediately rush to point fingers. School shootings get blamed on conservatives, and now the heartbreaking loss of Kirk and Ms. Zaratska gets blamed on liberals. How devastating that we’ve reached a place where senseless deaths are no longer met with quiet mourning, but instead turned into weapons for political agendas.

The truth is, our nation’s humanity feels like it’s at an all-time low. We are so quick to spew hate, as if we don’t already have enough of it. Each of these lives mattered. Each was lost in a tragic way. That should be enough to pause us, to humble us, and to call us back to compassion.

I pray for a restoration of humanity in our country, because if we lose our ability to grieve together without blaming, we lose something far greater than any political argument.

#2023

08/03/2025

Too often we beat ourselves up about where we “should be” in life or what we “should have” accomplished by now. As we navigate through life we have to come to the realization that life does not have a perfect timeline for life’s achievements. The moment we accept the truth the more weight will be lifted and a world of possibilities will begin to appear.

Meet yourself where you are and keep growing.

Grant yourself permission to be right where you are on this journey.

I just wanted to give kudos to this group for creating opportunities to connect with amazing community partners such as Jordan Carll. She is surely getting me into shape as I begin to try and understand Medicaid along with developing workflows for my practice. She is an amazing consultant with so much experience. Despite how overwhelmed I appear, I highly recommend.
