🫧 Let us tell you about an adaptable, engaging, and sensory-rich activity—Bubble Mountain.
This simple activity offers a wide range of sensory benefits, supporting visual tracking, tactile exploration, and calming, repetitive play. Watching bubbles float and pop can help children regulate their bodies, improve attention, and remain engaged in a low-pressure environment. The rhythmic nature of blowing, observing, and popping bubbles makes this a valuable tool for regulation, transitions, and calming breaks. Blowing bubbles also promotes breath control and oral motor development, supporting both regulation and skill-building.
For an added challenge, we incorporated “cutting” the bubbles to target scissor skills.
