one in 31 children has autism in the US? To better connect our Healthy Connections Medicaid members to autism services, we have updated our autism spectrum disorder (ASD) policy. Doctors can now screen, diagnose and refer their patients to autism services. This includes applied behavior analysis therapy. Ask your doctor about any questions related to autism. Members should also check with their provider about referrals to ASD services while waiting on an autism confirmation.

Are you a veteran interested in working for the state of South Carolina? SCDHHS and other state agencies will be participating in a virtual career fair Wednesday, Sept. 17 hiring for a variety of positions. If you would like guidance or assistance with transitioning into the workforce prior to the career fair, the South Carolina Department of Administration is holding a career counseling day Tuesday, Sept. 16 to assist veterans with resumes, interviews, the hiring process and more. • Cayce – 7am–3pm | Every other weekend

💵 Starting Pay: $14–$15/hr

✅ Requirements:
• Must pass SLED background check
