The spotlight is on Columbiana's own Matthew Doucet today as the Alabama Nursing Home Association celebrates "Careers in Aging Month"! We are so happy to have Matthew as a part of our team.

🤝 Our Careers in Aging Month spotlight continues with Matthew Doucet, a Certified Nursing Assistant at Columbiana Health and Rehabilitation who joined the long-term care profession in 2025 with a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.

He says the most rewarding part of his role is building trust with residents.

“I enjoy the sense of security I can provide residents. Building that trust takes consistent presence and respectful, attentive care — and that’s something I take great pride in."
