What is Shockwave Therapy? Shockwave therapy is a clinically proven and highly effective treatment for chronic soft tissue injuries. It utilizes a high energy sound wave that passes through the body by way of a hand-held probe. These sound waves produce a rapid increase in blood circulation to the targeted area and will also break down fibrous scar tissue that builds up over time. This process also stimulates cell regeneration and promote normal healing. Shockwave therapy can be used toward a number of soft tissue conditions, which include;
-Plantar fascitis
-Golfers Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis)
-Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis)
-Shoulder Pain (Rotator cuff injuries)
-Achilles Tendinitis
-Hip/Sciatic Pain
-Jumpers Knee (Patellar Tendonitis)

After 3-4 treatments with shockwave therapy, over 80% of patients reported a reduction in pain and increase in motion. We currently offer this service, and would be glad to help anyone with chronic soft tissue injuries/pain.

✅ The sciatic nerve, seen here in yellow, is the largest nerve in the body.

✅ It involves the branches from the lower back and sacral nerves (L4-S3).

✅ Here is the spot (white dot) in the deep glute where the sciatic nerve becomes entrapped (stuck) most often. It's located just beneath the piriformis muscle.

✅ Fibrous adhesion causes the nerve to be adhered to the deep hip rotators. It will cause pain and numbness that travels down your leg.

✅ When you've had pain here for longer than 6 months and already tried other treatments with no permanent relief, then this is likely your problem.

Have you ever woke up and struggled to rotate your neck in one direction? How about stiffness in your lower back when bending to put your socks and shoes on? These issues likely arise from damage to your intervertebral disc. Each disc is made up of 2 parts; the nucleus pulposus and the annulus fibrosis. The nucleus makes up the gelatinous center of the disc (seen in dark blue) and acts as your shock absorbers in your spine. The annulus is make up of layers of dense collagen fibers, and gives the disc its structure. When the annulus is damaged the nucleus pulposus can expand through the rings of the annulus and cause a herniation (disc bulge). Minor injuries' to the disc like an annular tear can cause pain and restricted motion for many patients. Call or send us a message if you are currently having these symptoms.

~Sciatica is a common problem. It can be caused by a herniated disc in the lower back, but more commonly it’s caused by adhesion sticking the sciatic nerve to the muscles in the hip.
~It is crucial to know the difference in causes in order for treatment to be effective and long lasting. We can test and measure for the presence of adhesion and determine the underlying cause of sciatic nerve pain.
~We apply expert treatment via Manual Adhesion Release®️. This unique and specialized treatment is applied manually by an expertly trained provider. Compression and tension is applied at the site of the adhesion, and over the course of treatment, reduces and eliminates the adhesion. Clearing the adhesion allows the sciatic nerve to move freely through the hip, and ultimately leading to decreased symptoms.
