We’re excited to offer Sensory-Friendly Play Hours at Dorothy’s Playhouse this Monday, designed for children who benefit from a calmer, more supportive play environment.
🕘 Session Times:
• 4:00–5:00 PM
• 5:30–6:30 PM
👧 Limited to 15 children per session
💵 $5 per child
During these sessions, families can expect:
• A quieter, low-stimulation environment
• New sensory-friendly toys added to the play floor
• Extra support and guidance available as needed
We’re honored to have Amanda Ahrens, MA, BCBA, LBA, BCASE, joining us during sensory-friendly hours. Amanda is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and IN*Source Parent Volunteer who is passionate about supporting families and creating inclusive, judgment-free spaces for neurodiverse children. She’ll be on site to help facilitate play, answer questions, and serve as a helpful resource for parents. No pressure, just support when you need it.
These sessions are intentionally small to keep the environment comfortable, so spots are limited.
