Job Title: Registered Nurse Trainer (DODD Certified or Willing to Attend Certification Course)

Job Description: SkillzTech is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will either possess DODD certification as a Registered Nurse Trainer or be willing to attend the DODD Train the Trainer certification course. This role involves teaching unlicensed personnel in Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding counties, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Conduct training sessions for unlicensed personnel in accordance with DODD guidelines and best practices.
Develop curriculum and training materials to effectively educate staff on relevant topics such as medication administration, healthcare protocols, and specialized care techniques.
Utilize creative teaching methods to engage learners and create a positive and fun learning environment.
Assess training effectiveness through evaluations and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
Provide mentorship and support to staff members to ensure ongoing professional development.
Collaborate with other team members to identify training needs and develop strategies for meeting those needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to developmental disabilities and healthcare.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
DODD certification as a Registered Nurse Trainer preferred, or willingness to attend the DODD Train the Trainer certification course.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Passion for teaching and facilitating learning experiences.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for learning.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to travel to different locations within Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding counties as needed.
