Happy Mother's Day🫶🏼
Clowns just hatch into existence. An egg appears and eventually a clown cracks out. Easy Peasy.
Humans on the other hand...well...the way y'all enter existence is far more...how do you say...macabre and messy? Humans are weird 🤷♀️
Life begins for humans because of a mother's sacrifice. And even if a mother didn't go through the hatching process with their child, it is a mother's love and attention that shapes the child's perspective. It takes tears and it takes heart. One could say that parenting a human grub is the most difficult of tasks in this life. There is no manual, and sometimes it feels like the loneliest place to be, trying to raise a younger generation to not be as nasty as the generations before it. To say that it is difficult is to say the least. Parenting is naturally coupled with heartache...whether it be heartache from the woes, or heartache from having to watch the grub grow up in a quick blink. It hurts, and it is beautiful; paradoxical by nature. Joy can also mean tears, and a mother knows this best.
A mother is far more than a title, and it transcends a connection of blood. It is a spirit of nurture and care, and that spirit can be found in the hearts of women who need not be the hatcher of a child to show a mother's love.
So, to all you moms reading this...whether you've laid a human grub or not, know that your place in this life is one of extreme importance. It's an ancient and beautiful responsibility; much more than just a word that gets said 1000 times a day (Mom, mom, mom, MOM)...it's a way of living life. It's in the words your breathe and the love you give. You, darling, are divinity in flesh. Never forget it.
Happy Mother's Day beloved. I'm so thankful you are here in this life. Thank you for being you, and thank you for taking on the epic task of bringing up the next generations. Even if you didn't do the hatching yourself, it is your heart and your love that can make all the difference in the world. So, if you don't hear it enough, let me say that you are special and valid and beautiful and worthy of receiving back everything you put out into the world. May you receive love and kindness and respect today and every day. Thank you for being you. Thank you for taking on the crucial task of being Mom. I love you! 🥰❤️🤡
