Eating whole color rich foods is health protective. This does not apply to processed artificially dyed foods, there is a distinct difference between nature and synthetic.
This study focused on vitamin A, C, and E as well as individual serum carotenoids, β-ccarotenoid and lutein+zeaxanthin, and their effect on Alzheimers and Dementia.
These carotenoids can be found in in brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Things like kale, parsley, spinach, broccoli and peas, winter squash, papaya, honeydew melon, kiwis, red peppers, squash and grapes.
