There is big concern about using tinfoil (aluminum foil) because of the aluminum of course.
People are wondering what to use instead. For cold things is easy plus even if you cover something with tinfoil it's ok since it's not going to even be heated.
For wrapping cold food like sandwiches:
-waxed paper
-butcher paper
-parchment paper with tinfoil on top
For cooking:
-Use stainless steel and other safe metal pans
-Unbleached parchment paper to line pans
