Developed by Four Seasons, Columbus’ leading life plan community, Athens Crossing will be anchored by a centrally located clubhouse with a private indoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, game rooms, and a social club. Our 40-acre neighborhood also will feature walking paths, a leash-free dog park, and open spaces for outdoor events. Our model is open weekdays, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and weekends by appointment!

Athens Crossing residents recently toured North Christian Church — one of Eero Saarinen’s final designs and a true symbol of Columbus, often nicknamed the “holy oil can.”

Led by our knowledgeable guide Mary Kendrick (pictured), the group explored its striking spire, unique hexagonal shape, and beautiful details — including the final organ designed by Walter Holtkamp Sr., with pipes intentionally arranged as part of the design.

Now serving as a library branch, this iconic space continues to inspire in a whole new way.

Athens Crossing residents took a delicious trip to Vermont this past week! 🍎🧀

Our celebration featured a beautiful charcuterie spread inspired by Vermont’s love for sharp cheddar cheese, fresh apples, and berries — a perfect taste of New England! Residents also enjoyed tasty sandwiches made with ham, turkey, sharp cheddar, and crisp apple slices for that sweet and savory combo.

And of course, no Vermont celebration would be complete without a sweet treat! We served up the iconic Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, founded in Burlington, VT in 1978.

It was a fun and flavorful way to explore the tastes of Vermont right here at Athens Crossing!

Michelle Mulimba, the talented owner and chef of Stunna's Catering & Meal Prep, treated our AC residents to a truly memorable Happy Hour! 🙌

Straight from her delicious menu, she wowed everyone with her hearty Sweet Potato Turkey Chili 🌶️ and topped it off with a sweet treat—Baked Strawberry Oatmeal 🍓💛

Needless to say… it was a HIT! 👏👏

We took our taste buds on a trip to the Big Apple! 🗽🍎

Our celebration of New York featured the iconic Katz’s-style pastrami on rye piled high with sauerkraut—bold flavors that truly hit the spot! 🥪✨

And for dessert? A classic New York-style cheesecake with a homemade graham cracker crust, topped with fresh berries 🍓🍰—rich, creamy, and absolutely irresistible!

From savory to sweet, it was a delicious way to experience a little slice of New York right here at home!

Happy Hour took a southern detour last week—all the way to North Carolina!

Our residents enjoyed classic Carolina-style hot dogs piled high with chili, coleslaw, onions, and mustard 🌭—paired with a comforting side of sweet potato casserole (fun fact: North Carolina grows about 40% of the nation’s sweet potatoes! 🍠).

We added a little extra crunch with famous Mt. Olive dill pickles 🥒 (the best-selling pickles in the U.S.!) and, of course, no trip to NC would be complete without a sweet treat—Krispy Kreme donuts straight from Winston-Salem! 🍩✨

It was a delicious adventure full of flavor, fun, and southern charm!

Columbus’ own downtown favorite, Gramz Bakery, stopped by to treat our residents to a special Easter-themed afternoon—and it was nothing short of delicious fun! 🐣✨

Their talented baker, Rachelle, wowed everyone with creative icing techniques, turning simple cookies into colorful Easter masterpieces. From pastel swirls to festive designs, our residents had a blast decorating (and tasting!) their beautiful creations.

A big thank you to Gramz Bakery and Rachelle for bringing joy, creativity, and a whole lot of sweetness to our day! 💛
