When trying to avoid back injuries…

Please be mindful of the cleaners by adding additional waste cans, or not overfilling the cans helps to avoid workplace back injuries.

We try to lessen the chance of back injury: using proper lifting techniques, and material handling techniques.

At Denham Janitorial Services, LLC we take frequent micro-breaks. Short, frequent breaks about every 20 - 30 minutes allow employees time to stretch their muscles and relieve stress on the back.

Always remember to:

- Bend the knees, not the back.
- Move your feet 👣, instead of twisting to move materials.

However, when lifting trash liners from a can that is full to the tip top—- some things cannot be avoided.

We ask client’s to please be mindful of the cleaners. Help eliminate back injuries by adding additional trash 🗑️ cans or receptacles. Also, remembering to not overfill the cans as people will be lifting the trash liners from the cans, and not machines.
