Stop by and see us today at the Franklin County Fair-Hilliard, Ohio near gate C with all of the Veterans Service Commission crew. We are raffling off Ohio Stare football tickets to veterans that enter there name into our drawing. We are also collecting and worn or damaged American flags to ensure they are disposed of properly.

Action packed week so far here in Columbus, Oh! Our Bravehearts meeting at The Coventry Senior Living with our group of Veterans kicked off the week. Followed by Kona Ice, lemon 🍋 themed cups to our friends at Canal Wi******er - An Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center, and celebrating our caregiver of the month. Thoughtful Thursday:

The son of one of our clients who passed away recently surprised us with a visit today. While in a team meeting at the office he stopped by unannounced with two boxes of donuts. The donuts weren’t the sweetest part of his visit though. He shared that our team helped him and his father tremendously. The caregivers they had went above and beyond and established a connection that will last forever. From making blueberry cobbler to watering the houseplants every Tuesday, our team of caregivers did the little things to ensure this family felt part of our Cornerstone family 💙

Many of us know someone with dementia or possibly know of someone that is caring for a loved one with dementia. Often times the process to find quality care is overwhelming and just adds more to the plate.

Cornerstone Caregiving is beyond excited to announce that this no longer has to be the case. We’re now an official partner of the GUIDE program. Individuals batteling dementia that are on Medicare Part A or B (not advantage) are likely eligible for $2,500 to pay for our in home caregiving services.

This week our Operating Director Shawn was able to visit our client Judy who we’ve served over the last year and a half. Judy recently lost her son to cancer and has been struggling to cope with the loss. During the visit we gifted her a Battle Pup and explained to her that she is not alone during this time. She lit up immediately and it brought tears to our eyes. We love you Judy, it’s an honor to serve you! Thank you Way to Battle for making these moments possible.

We had a great time at Fairfield Medical Center with Lisa of Summit Home Care & Hospice today. Lunch was provided to all of the case management team, and we absolutely crushed it!
