How did you spend your Saturday?

Thank you to Amy Carpenter for inviting us back to volunteer for The Hank Kabel Sarcoma Foundation. Our members were truly uplifted to run/walk while cheering on others. They were deeply moved by all the speakers, fell in love with all the dogs and gained valuable insights into the incredible careers where dogs can work side by side with us. Staff at the dog washing facility noted a noticeable improvement from the last time the members washed the dogs. They are getting better! 😁❤️

Devon and Becca discussed playing trivia. Staff helped them find a few trivia games to play on YouTube. Devon and Becca, along with a few peers, played trivia games on various topics, including animals, food, and animal patterns. They had a blast!

Carlisha requested cooking classes yesterday. Today, Carlisha and her peers prepared Jonny Marzetti. They learned how to grind the beef, add and measure seasonings, and determine proper lunch portions.

Community integration members gather every Wednesday to learn and enhance their sewing skills. I am proud of their accomplishments.
