10 days for the cervix to close, 30-40 days for the uterus to return from 2.5 lbs to 2 ounces,
and 120 days for the placenta site to close. That is why the postpartum period is one year. Stay in bed, rest at home, enjoy your new baby, smell your new baby, hold your new baby, nurse your new baby, relax, eat, drink, be nurtured, ask for help. You deserve it. ,

I know it's been pretty quiet on here - that's because I've been working hard to train. Reading books, helping families, and taking classes. I am well on my way to earning my certification. That being said....I am officially accepting clients for this fall/winter!!! I am so excited to work with Columbus area families! More information to come shortly!

I have a 17 month old boy so I have hands-on experience with newborns and birth and I have taken a 27 hour training course.
