Day 1!!!!! Today is the first day of Kaia having her new stem cells!!! It has been a rough two weeks preparing her for ‘Cell Day’ yesterday with Kaia getting chemo to knock out all her own cells but she did really well on transplant day. She received her new cells late last night and immediately after requested a “New York hot dog”!…she has only ever had a hot dog in New York so I guess she associates them together😂 
We are so so thankful to the amazing donor who has given our daughter this opportunity for a second chance at life. Now, we wait to see if the new stem cells are going to take and engraft in Kaia’s bone marrow to be able to make red blood cells, white cells and platelets.  
 
We are so fortunate to have an amazing team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital helping us to get through this. I have been absolutely amazed by the level of support, experience, and kindness we have received from the nurses, doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, Child Life team, art therapists, social workers and the list goes on.  
And again I want give our gratitude for our family and friends and Columbus Academy family and NMDP staff who have been on this journey with this and not only rooting Kaia on but also made such big efforts is helping to find a donor match for Kaia.  
We have also been so fortunate to have the support from a many of Kaia’s special friends and their families who have been there for us from day 1. We love you all❤️
We will continue to try to post updates about Kaia’s progress

This beautiful patient’s before and after photos were previously showcased after her 3 week postop visit.
Here she is now 4 months out from bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty and lateral brow lift, we also added a touch of neurotoxin to relax those 11,s. The swelling has gone done since her last photo and her eyes are looking even more spectacular!

“I can see!!”…Upper eyelid blepharoplasty can be life-changing for some patients.  
This lovely patient could not believe how much her vision improved as soon as her surgery was done. On top of that she looks at least 10 years younger!

This beautiful patient had upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition as well as lateral brow lift.  
Here she is 2.5 months from surgery. She still has a little swelling but we are already so pleased with her results.

CK Eyelid Plastic Surgery has rebranded to ‘Revive Eye and Face’!    
This new name embodies Dr. Kauh’s goal of giving natural results with a refreshed appearance. The goal is not to change one’s appearance but to REVIVE them.   
This name also reflects our expanded offerings beyond eyelid plastic surgery including nonsurgical services for facial rejuvenation.

So wonderful getting to visit Dr. Phelps at his beautiful practice in Chicago! It’s always fun getting to learn new techniques from a great colleague and friend. Not only was his office beautiful but his staff were top notch!

Refreshed and Revived!
This patient is 3 months out from bilateral lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat transposition.
We are so pleased with the results and he feels his face looks more bright and energized!
