As many of you know, 2023 was a very rough year for me personally. My oldest died very tragically in December of 2022. My world stopped and become numb at that precise moment.

From that day, I have taken on raising his special needs teenage daughter, and that has been a very bumpy road to say the least. All of this, along with the loss of several close friends who passed way too soon, has been a real eye opener.

Now that I have told those whom this will effect the most, I am stepping back from my business for 2024. I am focusing on self-care to heal myself so I can be of value to those I serve. I am NOT giving up on my dreams for this business, just taking a sabbatical, so to speak. I will be back, better and stronger than ever! This is just something I need for me and to insure I will be there for Kayla for a long time to come.

Hug those who are your world very tightly. Life can change in a heartbeat!

I have a very rare opening for one or possibly two clients in need of companion care. Services consist of a "professional" friend to go to lunch, shopping, errands, appointments, or just spend time with to make your loved one feel included and valuable. If in need, I would love to talk to you!. I work mainly with seniors, but clients of all ages considered.

What a year this has been! My new business has grown faster than I could have dreamed. I am so grateful for my clients and colleagues that have joined me on this journey.

After a much needed vacation and enjoying family for the holidays, I will be boots on the ground with phase two the first of the year. I am pursuing my Certified Senior Advisor certificate beginning in January. This will allow me to confidently guide and counsel my clients, not only with present needs, but also with planning for their own futures before it becomes an urgency. I will also be turning my focus on Placement Location and seeking referral contacts with Independent and Assisted Living Facilities in Central Ohio.

We will continue to provide Companion Care and Care Navigation. I will be accepting applications for potential clients, and once we interview and determine the needs, I will seek a staff member to work directly with your loved ones, under my supervision. I AM BUILDING AN ELITE TEAM! COULD THAT INCLUDE YOU?

My business is growing so rapidly at times I need to step back to take a breath.

I am finally able to begin launching the second phase of my business plan, with the Caregiving doing well and growing. I am focused on entering into Referral Partner contracts with facilities throughout the central Ohio area. This will allow me to begin to assist families, at no cost to them, locate to perfect long-term facilities, matching needs and desires, where their loved ones can thrive. This is where the majority of my individual focus will be.

I am no longer able to personally take on any more Caregiving positions and looking for a group of people, men and women, age is not a factor, for this elite team. These positions will primarily be Companion Care or Professional Friends, if you will to enrich their lives and give respite to family caregivers. It may mean taking them to lunch or dinner, shopping, on walks or various interests they need help with. Usually this is a few hours a week per client. The majority of my clientele are in affluent areas (But certainly not limited to) of central Ohio.
