What an incredible day we had last Friday celebrating our nation's independence! 🎉 ✨ We had a blast being a part of the Gahanna 4th of July Parade, surrounded by vibrant colors, cheerful faces, and the spirit of freedom! 🎇 🎆 It was a day filled with pride, community and don't forget the candy!

🎨🌸 Craft Time Fun! 🌸🎨

Our residents had a blooming good time getting creative with Mod Podge and flower pots this week! With colorful napkins, vibrant designs, and lots of laughter, each pot became a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. 🖌️✨

We love seeing their personalities shine through art—and now their beautiful pots are ready to brighten up the garden (and our hearts)! 💐💕

Our Legacy residents had a wonderful time painting rocks to add a personal touch to our beautiful garden stepping stones! Each rock is a small masterpiece, full of color and creativity, contributing to a path that reflects the joy and spirit of our community. We are proud of their work and adding to our garden space!

🍪 Fresh Out of the Oven! 🍪
There’s nothing quite like the smell of homemade cookies filling the kitchen! Legacy Lane Spent the Morning baking Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies, and they turned out amazing. Crispy on the edges, soft in the middle—just the way we like them! 😋

🌞 ☀️ Summer Fun in full swing this week for our residents! Even though it has been a hot week, we have made the most of it with some epic indoor activities and enjoyed the cooler mornings outside!

We hit the shops for some summer sales at Marshall's, a morning friendly game of co****le. Of course, we couldn't resist getting creative with some chalk art 🎨 ✨

Saturday we had the incredible privilege of honoring one of our own Independent Residents– Cliff, a proud veteran who served our country with courage and heart in the Korean War. Although he couldn’t travel to Washington, D.C., we brought the Honor Flight experience home to him!

Surrounded by family, fellow residents, friends, and staff, Cliff and 15 other Ohio Veterans were celebrated for their service with heartfelt applause, a flag presentation, and touching tributes. It was a moving reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans—and the deep gratitude we all feel.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out to show their support and Marion at Home Honor Flight team who helped make this day unforgettable. ❤️💙

What an incredible day to be at Muirfield for Barbara Nicklaus's Annual Captains Club Award Ceremony and to honor all our Veterans! Norma and Hal, a couple who live in our Independent Living, volunteered at Muirfield for 10 years. Hearing their personal stories of the tournament and Barbara made the day even more memorable!

We also saw the OSU National Football Trophy and met a few players; it was a thrill! It's always inspiring to be surrounded by so much history and dedication. Thank you, Hal for being one of our many Heroes here at Taylor Springs and serving in the Air Force
