What a fun week it’s been! We baked strawberry yogurt bread and cinnamon rolls, played pool noodle volleyball and Olympic style games, had spa day, crafted for Mardi Gras, hosted our favorite preschoolers and some Columbus Symphony members! Here’s to more smiles, more memories, and more great times ahead!

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Lucy, one of our amazing Assisted Living nurses!

Lucy has been part of the Our Home family for over two years. She began her journey with us as a caregiver while working hard to earn her nursing degree, and we were so proud to watch her grow into the incredible nurse she is today!

Lucy is truly a light to be around. Her friendly smile, positive spirit, and gentle heart make such a difference in the lives of our residents and their families. She cares for each resident as if they were her own family, and that kind of compassion can’t be taught. It comes straight from the heart.

We are so thankful to have Lucy on our team! 💙

It was a cozy and colorful week last week at Our Home New Albany! Our residents and staff celebrated National Sweater Day and Wear Red Day by rocking their warmest knits and boldest reds. We love seeing everyone come together for fun, friendship and a great cause.

💚💚💚 Family. Love. Compassion. 💚💚💚
Our culture is deeply rooted in these three things and we choose to walk it out every single day- even the days with 12inches of snow! The only way it’s possible provide care to 90 residents during a snow emergency is to have a team that loves and functions like a family. Well, we have it! Our overnight warriors packed bags and camped out at the community to ensure our resident care did not miss a beat. We had Tony and owner, Greg driving around town to pick up our crew all. day. long. Kichen staff cooking for all the staff and residents. Jeff braving the cold to keep us safe and sound with shovels and blowers. Care staff, kitchen staff, housekeeping, front desk and leadership pulling together to make this work… AND IT DID. Thank you for trusting us with your loved ones this weekend. We are so proud of the team at OHNA especially over the last couple of days. We love you all so much and we are so grateful!
