The Karabelle Pizzigati Initiative lies at the heart of my work here at UMD. The late Karabelle Pizzigati dedicated her career to empowering champions for children with the policy skills needed to be strong advocates and to make a lasting difference in the lives of our nation's youth. December 30, 2024 will mark what would have been Mrs. Pizzigati's 75th birthday. To honor and commemorate her life's work, the Karabelle Pizzigati Initiative is launching the 75 for 75 Campaign—a fundraising initiative with a goal to raise $75,000 to offer an opportunity to a graduate student. Please consider a gift TODAY!
