Meet Dr. Zach Merkel 👋

Dr. Merkel began his podiatric journey at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where he built a strong foundation in podiatric medicine and surgery. He then completed his residency at Inspira Medical Center, sharpening his expertise in both conservative and surgical care.

Passionate about helping patients of all ages, Dr. Merkel also completed specialized training in pediatric care at the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore.
His approach is simple but powerful, listen first, then create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. With experience treating a wide range of conditions and patient populations, he brings a compassionate and well-rounded perspective to podiatry.
