🌿 Today is Native American Day 🌿

This day is set aside to recognize and honor the history, culture, and contributions of Native peoples across our nation. It’s a reminder of the deep traditions, resilience, and wisdom that continue to shape our communities today.

🪶 Did you know? Native American Day is not a federal holiday, and it’s observed on different dates depending on the state. South Dakota, for example, celebrates it on the second Monday in October, while other states like California and Nevada observe it on the fourth Friday in September.

Wherever and whenever it’s observed, the message is the same: to honor and celebrate Native peoples and their lasting impact on our shared story.
