Medicare annual enrollment, also known as the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), runs from October 15 to December 7 each year.

During this time, you can review and change your Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Part D prescription drug plans.

Changes made during this period take effect on January 1 of the following year. You can switch between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, join or drop a Part D plan, or make changes to your existing plans.
