Wondering if your 1 and 2 year old is on track compared to other kids their age? Check out some of the speech-language milestones below!

*By 12 months, your child should be saying "mama, dada" and 1-2 other words
*By 18 moths, your child should be saying 10 or more words
*By 24 months, your child should be saying 50 words, which is when children begin to put 2 words together

Happy 2nd "workiversary" to Miss Patia!

We have all learned so much from Miss Patia! She's a sensory processing queen and is always willing to share her knowledge with her coworkers and clients' caregivers!

We are grateful for Miss Patia's dedication to growing as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist over the past 2 years at Empowering Kids! She's helped our clients to organize their sensory systems, integrate visual processing, and increase their fine and gross motor skills.

Miss Patia continues to help her clients improve their quality of life and is always willing to collaborate with her coworkers. We are so happy to celebrate her being part of our team for 2 years!

Happy 1st "workiversary" to Miss Tori!

Everyone loves Miss Tori! She's quickly become many of our clients' favorite therapist! She brings creativity and energy to her sessions, ensuring her clients have a fun time while working towards their goals!

She's also a vital member of the office staff. Miss Tori can -and does- do it all! She helps make materials, cleans, organizes things in the office, leans a listening ear to her coworkers, and helps with administrative tasks.

We'd all be lost without Miss Tori! Thank you for a great first year!
