I specialize in providing speech therapy services for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and other speech sound disorders.
"Children with apraxia of speech have difficulty planning and producing the precise, highly refined and specific series of movements of the tongue, lips, jaw and palate that are necessary for intelligible speech" (Apraxia Kids) which often makes it difficult for them to communicate effectively.
Apraxia Kids is the leading nonprofit that strengthens the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech.
This year I'm co-coordinating the Columbus Walk for Apraxia benefitting Apraxia Kids, because I believe that every child deserves a voice! Your support means that more families will receive the resources they need to help their child speak.
