🍊 Happy Vitamin C Day! 🍊

Did you know? Vitamin C does more than support your immune system β€” it also helps your body better absorb iron, which is key for keeping your energy up and your body strong.

Try pairing iron-rich foods like spinach, beans or lean meats with vitamin C-rich veggies like bell peppers and broccoli. Add a squeeze of lemon to your meal for an extra boost! These simple combos can help your body get the most out of the nutrients you eat.

Small changes can make a big impact on your health β€” one meal at a time.

At Molina Healthcare, we’re proud to stand with the autism community in promoting understanding and acceptance – not just during Autism Awareness Month, but always.

Autism is a developmental disorder that affects the way people communicate, learn, socialize and behave. It’s not a limitation; it's a unique perspective that enriches our world.

Kidney stones are more common than you might think β€” and they can be very painful. The good news? Simple habits can help lower your risk.

πŸ’§ Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. You can also include citrus drinks like lemon or orange water, which may help prevent stones.

πŸ₯— Eat a balanced diet: Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Limit salt, sugary drinks and highly processed foods, which can increase your risk.

If you experience symptoms like severe back or side pain, nausea, or blood in your urine, talk to your doctor.

Taking care of your kidneys is an important part of your overall health.

what endometriosis is?

In women, the uterus is lined with a certain kind of tissue. Endometriosis is a chronic condition in which tissue similar to that found in the uterus grows outside of it. This often causes pelvic and stomach pain, heavy menstrual periods, pain and other symptoms. In some cases, it can even cause fertility issues.

There is currently no cure for endometriosis, but symptoms can sometimes be managed with certain medications or surgery to remove the endometriosis tissue. If you experience any symptoms of endometriosis, talk to your primary care doctor or gynecologist about testing and treatment options.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Colorectal cancer, or colon cancer, is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among both men and women in the U.S.

Like many cancers, colorectal cancer might not show any signs until it has progressed to later stages, at which point it's harder to treat. But if it's caught early, it can be treated. That’s why it's so important to get an annual colorectal cancer screening, often referred to as a colonoscopy.

Most adults should begin getting screenings at age 45; however, those with a family history of certain cancers or pre-existing conditions may start screenings earlier.
