In 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law—and the world began to shift.

Curb cuts, accessible restrooms, ramps, workplace protections, and so much more didn’t exist by accident. They exist because people fought for them.

The ADA wasn’t a gift. It was a victory. A promise that discrimination has no place in public life.

We stand on the shoulders of the advocates who made it happen—and we keep pushing forward, because accessibility is a right, not a request.

Accessible Parks & Playgrounds Matter

Every child deserves the chance to climb, swing, laugh, and play.

But for many kids with disabilities, traditional playgrounds can feel more like barriers than invitations.

That’s why accessible parks—with ramps, adaptive swings, sensory spaces, and smooth surfaces—matter so much. They don’t just create space to play.

They create space to belong.

We believe play should never be limited by ability. Because the joy of childhood? That should be for everyone.
