HBO’s new documentary Ohio Confidential just dropped, and it pulls no punches. The film dives deep into one of the largest political bribery scandals in Ohio’s history—$60 million funneled through shady backchannels between FirstEnergy and state leaders. After watching, I’m seriously asking: why haven’t Mike DeWine and Jon Husted faced any real consequences? The connections are crystal clear and they both should be in prison.

And just to twist the knife a little deeper—AEP says our electric rates are about to go up again before summer. So while utility companies cash in and insiders stay protected, regular Ohioans are stuck footing the bill.

If you haven’t seen Ohio Confidential yet, it’s streaming on Max and airing all month. It’s worth every minute if you want to know who’s really benefitting from your utility bill.
