Bloom Into Creativity: Spring Equinox 108 Sun Salutations & Craft Night

As the earth awakens and the days grow longer, it’s time to embrace the energy of renewal and growth! Join us for a Spring Equinox 108 Sun Salutations & Craft Night—a special gathering to move, create, and bloom into the new season.

We’ll begin with 108 Sun Salutations, a powerful and meditative flow to welcome fresh energy, clear the mind, and connect with the changing rhythms of nature. Whether you’re completing all 108, visualizing, or moving at your own pace, this practice is about honoring your personal journey.

Afterward, let your creativity blossom in our craft night, where we’ll channel the spirit of spring into a hands-on project designed to inspire joy, self-expression, and renewal. No experience is necessary—just bring your open heart and a willingness to explore!

Come move, create, and celebrate the magic of new beginnings. Let’s bloom together!

🌸 Date: Wednesday, March 19th

Help us welcome Colleen, another guest instructor who is joining our 85 Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Program.

We are so excited to have her! Here’s a little preview into what she will be sharing:

During this class, we will work to unearth cultural messaging around what you “should” feel as a new parent/during postpartum and make space together for what “is.” There will also be a reflective time of considering subconscious beliefs we all hold around parenthood/motherhood/postpartum/emotional vulnerability etc - and invitations to expand and challenge these beliefs.

✨ Sounds amazing, right?! ✨

Let’s get to know Colleen even more:

Colleen has been working as a psychotherapist for the last 15 years. She has worked in various capacities in the mental health field – college settings, domestic violence shelters and centers, writing psychological evaluations for refugees seeking asylum, cancer care support, with children and adolescents, and most recently in perinatal mental health. She began focusing on perinatal mental health after her own experience with PPD after her daughter’s birth 5 years ago. She knows in her own body the challenges and overwhelm and shame that can come from this struggle and she is passionate about supporting parents during this season. She currently focuses her work on helping parents in her private practice to heal their own early attachment traumas as they seek to be the whole and healthy parent they long to be. She believes healing is possible and is deeply honored to join others on that journey.

Before kids, she was a RYT and hopes to teach yoga again in the future. She deeply believes in the mind-body connection and the wisdom of the body and she utilizes yoga in her daily life. She is grateful for the role that yoga has played in her own healing journey.

Get ready to be ✨spoiled✨ by learning from one of my absolute favorite sharers of expertise.

Jesse has been by my side from the start of my training programs and she is undoubtedly a student favorite. Her depth of knowledge, her hands-on approach, her warming energy, her passionate spirit; all make for a beautiful experience.

BIG NEWS COMING: We are going to open a *few* spots for her workshop because we know so many of you wouldn’t want to miss this. Announcement coming soon. If you want to be the first to know, DM me.

Here’s more about Jesse:

Jesse Miller has been a holistic occupational therapist since 2011. She began with an interest in orthopedic upper extremity rehabilitation and anatomy, working in that field for 9 years.

During her restorative yoga teacher training she learned about the importance of the subtle body and the power of the nervous system. In 2018 she decided to open her own business where she could focus on utilizing a holistic approach to assist her clients in regaining their wholeness.

Jesse is a licensed Occupational Therapist, a Craniosacral Therapist with completed work in somatoemotional release, a yoga/restorative yoga instructor and values the importance of functional movement patterns, regaining active mobility in the body, and empowering her clients to begin to learn more about how their bodies function. These skills together allow her to provide a well rounded approach to the care she provides.

Jesse prides herself on maintaining a passion for learning, professional growth and exploring the many benefits that body awareness, strength training, restorative practices and Craniosacral Therapy have to offer.

October Asana Challenge •
Day 10 • Let’s see your poses • Tag

Today’s Pose: Malasana • you may also hear it referred to as garlands pose or a yoga squat.

Tips:

• Work with your body, which means you can adjust the height/depth and everything in between.

• Start standing with your feet hip distance or a bit wider. Pivot your toes out. Start to lower down by bending the knees and stop if you feel any tension/pulling in the knees, hips, or anywhere else.

• If you do come lower to the ground, you have options here: sit on a block for a supported position, keep your hands on the ground, keep your heels lifted.

• Play Time: you all know I love playing in poses. This is a fun one because you can go so many places from here. Examples are: crow, crow to tripod headstand, shoulder pressing pose (bhujapidasana), 8-angle pose, bird of paradise, flamingo, and so much more!

Have fun 🤩 We should all look very different in our poses. Release all expectations! 👏🏼🧡
