Dear Families, every 3-4 weeks AWANA takes a break. This enables adult fellowships to schedule special events that don't take place at church. This also gives our AWANA team a chance to rest. As a result, there will be no AWANA tomorrow night.

We look forward to ministering to your child next Friday on October 3!

Two weeks ago I shared about AWANA's new Memory Master challenge. If a student is able to recite all the verses in his/her book, all at once, the student will receive a special commemorative T-shirt, along with 100 AWANA dollars.

In order to complete the challenge, students will be given an initial hint about the first few words of the verse. They will also be given 2 additional helps/mistakes per verse.

The purpose of the challenge is for students to develop their memory skills and develop a deep understanding of God's Word. I pray that many students will want to experience personal development and spiritual growth through this special challenge!

Dear Families, this Friday night is the last night of AWANA for this year! On Friday we would like to recognize all the hard work that your child has put into studying at AWANA.

As part of the events, we will do book completion awards for students, an ice cream party, games for parents and kids, and a look at what's coming up next.

Please plan on attending so you can enjoy this special time with your child!

Dear Families, the AWANA Store is open tomorrow! Children in Sparks and T&T will be able to use their AWANA dollars to purchase prizes at the AWANA store!

This Friday is the last date that children can complete sections for credit. If your child is working on completing the book, please encourage him or her to complete those sections this week.
