This year, we’re proud to team up with , a local non-profit that supports children in foster and kinship care. In their sixth season of the Help for the Holidays program, Alicia’s Closet is bringing holiday joy to more than 1,000 children across Central Ohio.

If you’d like to join us in making the season brighter, there are two simple ways to give:

FIX your shoulder pain
 but Its probably not how you think đŸ€”đŸ€šđŸ§

Rotator cuff tear. Bicep tendonitis. Impingement. You’ve heard these terms before and maybe even have been diagnosed with  one of these injuries.

What if I told you, your shoulder pain is that has been lingering could be caused from something else.

Something  less scary sounding than impingement.
Or tendinitis.

New research is showing that shoulder pain can be caused by NONE of the above.

In fact, it is not structural in nature AT ALL.

One potential cause of shoulder pain is actually an increase đŸ§ȘCHEMICAL đŸ§Șsubstances , or inflammatory markers causing irritation of the rotator cuff or bicep tendon.

How much better would you feel continuing to move and exercise knowing all your muscles and tendons and ligaments are strong đŸ’Șand intact?!

You’re probably wondering how we get RID of those irritating chemicals in the joint.  We have the solution.

1. Dry Needling- to pump fresh blood in, inflammation out.
2. Manual therapy- to reinforce new pain free range of motion

Happy, happy, happy birthday to not just one, not just two, but three of our team members today! .mattie_b, AND .dpt ALL share the same special day today, which in my opinion is so them
selfless!

These Scorpios align in so many ways: deep focus, loyalty, emotional intelligence and a shared desire to make things MATTER. I see this every day in their interactions with patients, everyone they encounter and their own life passions (which mostly involve fitness đŸ’ȘđŸŒ!!).

We’re so blessed to have these birthday triplets in our lives and on our team! Happy Birthday Dr. Mattie, Dr. Leah and Dr. Kelsey!

Columbus 1/2 marathon recap

First off thank you to anyone who braved the weather to be out there to spectate. With a pretty bleak forecast I was pleasantly surprised running down broad street with the whole block lined with people. Made the conditions so much more bearable.

Race didn’t go exactly as planned, but can’t be mad at a PR day.

Had one of the best training builds thanks to the Thursday morning track sessions. One thing I’ll take away from this race is no matter what your goal is, find some people to share in the journey with. Makes a difficult process so much easier.

All these just mean “Stand up straight.” It’s a simple, elegant✹effective✹ solution.
