On February 13, the SIOP Local I-O Groups Committee will host Beyond the Narrative: Reframing Neurodiversity, a free webinar designed to further understanding of neurodivergence.

This presentation will cover the diversity of the autism spectrum, challenge biologically reductive explanations that reinforce stigma, and reconsider common assumptions about performance and procrastination through the lens of self-regulation rather than motivation or ability.

There will be opportunities for questions, networking, and discussion following the presentation.

The latest issue of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) is now available. Volume 18 Issue 4 December 2025 includes two focal articles.

The first focal, "Defining who is a worker: Why I-O psychology should extend consideration to nonhuman animals that labor for humans," by Ivan Hernandez, Arturia Melson-Silimon, and Michael J. Zickar, calls for a more inclusive field of I-O psychology that extends its consideration toward all workers—including nonhuman animal workers—as worthy of study and advocacy.

This focal is followed by 10 commentaries.
