The racial wealth gap perpetuates inequities in the Black Community. One of the best ways to address the income and wealth gap is to support black women entrepreneurs and nurture black girls in business .Research demonstrates that fathers can play an instrumental role in their daughter’s career. “Take Your Daughter To Work Day” is designed to address the income and wealth gap by lifting up black girls in business and entrepreneurship, but it is also designed to connect black girls to their Black men by giving them insight into what we do to support our families and the communities we serve.
