“When will I be able to see?”

It’s one of the most common questions we hear and it’s completely normal to feel nervous about it!

Dr. Schumer explains what patients can expect with both cataract surgery and LASIK. For cataracts, we prioritize safety by treating one eye at a time, allowing the other eye to help you function while the first heals. Most patients are amazed by their vision by the one-week visit and are ready for the second eye soon after. With LASIK, vision improvement is often immediate.

Understanding the process helps ease anxiety and we’re here to guide you every step of the way!
