✨Kinderdance✨

Our friends had such a fun time learning new skills during our Kinderdance trial today. Our younger learners explored moving their bodies with colorful scarves and practiced listening closely for their next directions. Our older friends learned the word point and practiced pointing and flexing their toes. They also took turns beautifully and even got tapped by a magic wand that transformed them into dancers. It was such a joyful morning of movement, imagination, and growing confidence. 🩰

Throughout February, our classrooms will explore age‑appropriate books, activities, and conversations that honor diversity, kindness, and the beauty of every child’s story. 💛✨

Dear Play and Learn Families,
We want to take a moment to share an important update regarding one of our beloved Big Bird classroom teachers, Ms. Sam.
Recently, Ms. Sam received a diagnosis of breast cancer. She will be undergoing surgical removal and will need to take approximately 4–6 weeks off to focus on recovery and healing. This news has been difficult for her and for our team, but she is approaching this journey with incredible strength, courage, and positivity.
Ms. Sam has been a compassionate, joyful, and steady presence in the Big Bird classroom. Her dedication to the children and her warm, nurturing spirit have made a tremendous impact on our center. As she steps away to take care of her health, we want to rally around her in support.
During Ms. Sam’s absence, Ms. Nisha will be stepping up for the classroom, Ms. Lauren and Ms. Rachel will be supporting as needed to ensure continuity of care and a smooth transition for the children.
To help ease the financial burden during this time, we are organizing a fundraiser for Ms. Sam. Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward supporting her medical and recovery needs. Most importantly, it will remind her that her Play and Learn family is standing beside her every step of the way.
More details about how to donate will be provided soon.
In the meantime, please keep Ms. Sam in your thoughts and prayers. We are grateful for your compassion, understanding, and continued support of our staff and school community.

We want to celebrate Ms. Lauren on her 5-year anniversary working with Play & Learn. Ms. Lauren started out at Play & Learn as an infant teacher and is working most recently as our Curriculum Coordinator. Ms. Lauren is a light in our school and makes every interaction one to remember. Congratulations Ms. Lauren on five wonderful years and many more to come. 🌟5️⃣🌟
