Today we had the privilege of honoring the veterans who call Brookdale Westerville home. One of our residents became emotional as he received his recognition. Moments like that remind us that gratitude should never have a deadline. We also took time to honor our Executive Director, Mark, for his years of military service. His leadership and compassion are felt in our community every day. To all who have served – thank you! Your courage and sacrifice continue to shape the world we live in. We’re grateful to walk alongside you.

What a great night! Our first neighborhood Trick-or-Treat was a success thanks to all the families who came out to join us. It was wonderful seeing so many kids in costume and feeling the support from our community. Our residents loved mingling and soaking in the fun atmosphere. From the candy and pizza to the eyeball punch, everyone had a great time! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made the evening so special.

For Assisted Living Week, we had a lot going on. Entertainment this week was by Bill Papworth at the beginning of the week. Then on Saturday, we had The Country Classic Band. Frida,y the Chubby Hawaiian Food truck came, and residents and staff had a great lunch.
