🩺 Patient Story Spotlight: A Life Back in Motion 💃

When Jeff visited Dr. Rohl at OrthoNeuro for his back issues, he didn't expect that visit would also change his 85-year-old mother's life.

Francis — a lifelong ballroom dancer and former dance studio owner — hadn't been able to dance in over three years. Limited by severe back pain, she relied on a walker and even a wheelchair for long distances. After a round of injections provided only short-term relief, Dr. Rohl diagnosed her with a spine condition requiring an L4-L5 fusion.

Jeff shared how Dr. Rohl's calm, straightforward bedside manner gave them both the confidence to move forward. "After the surgery, Dr. Rohl told my mom, 'You're healing, not healed' — and that really stuck with her," Jeff said.

Following her surgery in March 2024, Francis worked hard through rehab and recovery. Just one year later, she was back on the dance floor at a big band event in Columbus — and doing more than she had before her injury!

"Dr. Rohl totally changed her life and got her back to her old self," Jeff shared. "He gave my mom her life back."
