Today marks the first day of fall. As the trees let go of their leaves each fall, we’re reminded of the natural cycles of life.
Grief, too, has seasons. There are times when holding on feels necessary and times when letting go, little by little, becomes part of healing.
Just as trees release their leaves to prepare for rest and renewal, we can allow ourselves to release small pieces of pain, guilt, or regret when we’re ready.
Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It means making space for comfort, peace, and even moments of beauty to return in their own season.
If you’re in a season of grief right now, may this fall remind you: you don’t have to let go all at once. Healing can come slowly, leaf by leaf. 💙🍁
