Starting Monday June 30, 2025, Bethel Vision Center's hours are as follows:
Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday: 8:00 - 5:00 PM (closed 12:30 - 1:30 for lunch)
Wednesday: will alternate 8:00 - 5:00 PM (closed 12:30 - 1:30 for lunch) or closed
Thursday: 8:00 - 6:00 (closed 1:00 - 2:00 for lunch
Friday: closed.
Office staff will be traveling to our sister store due to short staffing. Please text 614-459-4093, as text messages can be answered remotely, the answering machine cannot.
We do apologize for the inconvenience.

We would like to welcome Andi Miller as our new Office Manager. Andi has been in the optical field almost 30 years. She has experience in optical retail as well as private practices. She is excited to take over as Office manger and is looking forward to meeting everyone and extending her wonderful customer service.

Greetings from Bethel Vision Center. We would like to reach out and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of sympathy for the passing of Dr. Jordan this year. He will truly be missed by many.

We would like you to know that our office will continue to provide our expert care and customer service with Dr. Schmelzer and her staff. She has been practicing here for about 17 yrs and promises to continue taking care of our patients with the most professional care.

We are also sad to announce that Rick, our Office Manger, will be leaving our office at the end of the year to start a new journey. He has been an intricate part of our office for the last 13 yrs. His relationships and customer service with his patients were a priority to him. He will be truly missed.

It is with Great Sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Jordan. We are all at a loss for words. He was a dedicated Doctor, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Veteran! He will be dearly missed. We are deeply saddened by this event and wanted to let you know that the office will continue running and our patients are being seen by his associate, Dr. Schmelzer. Our office hours may be adjusted so please call before stopping in to verify our hours. Please bare with us and be patient as we navigate these unchartered waters.
