We are thrilled to have Dr. Devan Rybarczyk join the team at Clarity Eyecare with the goal of providing excellent eye care to our patients while showing them compassion and kindness. She is originally from Avon Lake, Ohio. After graduating cm laude with an honors distinction from the Ohio State University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from the OSU College of Optometry.

Dr. Rybarczyk completed her clinical training through externships at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, The OSU Wexner Medical Center, and several private practices in the Columbus area. She specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease and gained a special interest in fitting specialty contact lenses and primary vision care.

She is a member of the the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. Outside of patient care, Dr. Rybarczyk enjoys spending time outdoors, running, practicing yoga, of course cheering on the Buckeyes!

We are pleased to introduce you to Dr. Shimul Shah, who brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care to our practice. She is originally from Dover, Ohio and graduated with a bachelor's from the University of Michigan... yes, THAT University of Michigan, and then from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. She began practicing in central Ohio in 1999, most recently at Marysville Family Vision.

Dr. Shah is passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to quality eye care. She has actively participated in numerous local vision and medical fairs, providing essential services to individuals facing financial constraints. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients and understanding the demands of their daily lives. She takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, recognizing that each patient has unique concerns, challenges, and lifestyle factors that influence their vision needs. By considering these different aspects, she develops a tailored treatment plan to best address each patient's specific situation.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, running, spending time with her family and friends, and of course, silently cheering on her Wolverines!

It is with mixed emotions that we announce Dr. Laird Ackerson’s well-deserved retirement! He has served the Hilliard community for over 43 years, and our staff and patients are going to miss him so very much. We want to thank him for the wonderful care that he provided to his patients over the years and hope he knows the lasting legacy that he left behind. Congratulations, Dr. Ackerson!🎉
