Last week, OhioHealth associates came together in person and online to celebrate International Women’s Day and the power of lifting each other up. Through mentorship, advocacy, sharing knowledge and making space for every voice, we contribute to women’s advancement and build stronger, more connected communities.

Meet Caitlin Cannon, RN — an ICU nurse at OhioHealth Pickerington Methodist Hospital. Caitlin’s journey with OhioHealth started in 2018, and after a brief time away, she returned in 2022 as part of the travel flex team and was assigned to the team that opened Pickerington Methodist.

What inspires Caitlin most? Her coworkers, whom she describes as a “little family” that genuinely cares for one another. She says one of the things that makes her most proud to work here is the way associates are willing to support each other, like with the pop-up employee food pantry. “Helping each other, while not making it seem like someone is asking for help, is a fantastic way to encourage and support our entire team,” she says.
