Acupuncture: reduce pain, restore function, renew health
Many people are familiar with acupuncture as a tool for pain management. However, it can do much more than that. It's not enough to simply decrease pain. It's also important to restore physical functioning so that we can do the things that we want to do. Acupuncture can help with this.

Acupuncture reduces knee pain
Acupuncture is beneficial for knee pain. A meta-analysis of 1334 patients from 5 randomized controlled trials in China showed both a reduction in pain and an improvement in function. Acupuncture has even been shown to improve knee pain following total knee replacement surgery. It has also been shown to reduce opioid use following surgery.
