On November 12, 1833, there was a meteor shower so intense that it was possible to see up to 100,000 meteors crossing the sky every hour. At the time, many thought it was the end of the world, so much so that it inspired this woodcut by Adolf Vollmy.

Saguaro National Park is a national park located in the United States. Specifically in the city of Tucson, southwest of the state of Arizona. The Park is home to the largest species of cactus in North America, considered a universal symbol of the American West. The species can reach 15 meters and weigh up to 1 ton, subsist for 150 to 200 years.
✪ Other types of vegetation found in the park are paloverdes, algarobas and ocotillos.
