If you have ever wanted to connect hold, hold, or have a piece of my art work, come join me at The Reiki Center on November 14 th between 2-8pm. Drop in any time and you will find original paintings and drawings for sale ... all priced to help them move to new homes. We’ll have snacks, and I will also share a bit of my story at 3:30pm and 5:30pm.

Why am I selling my originals, representing and spanning 14 years of my life and journey, and at such reasonable prices? Three reasons!

First, to have my work in other people’s lives and homes. The energy of these want to be shared, rather than simply being archived in my space.

Secondly, there’s a weightiness to this much material. Honestly, sometimes it feels harder to create when there’s so many layers of work around me. I’m seeking more ‘blank space’ on the page of life, as an invitation to create more.

Third, I’m entering into a new chapter. I can’t pretend to see the arc, but it feels big. There’s something in me seeking to become, and it needs spaciousness, and lightness, for it to emerge.

This practice will use restorative yoga poses using bolsters and blankets paired with guided meditations. Restorative Yoga is the practice of stillness and peace in comfortable and supportive poses. Optional reiki session will be offered during the yoga practice.

This practice is welcome to all ability levels. New to yoga? Always been curious or not sure if it’s for you? Restorative yoga is the perfect place to start your journey.

Please dress comfortably and bring water. You may bring a journal or notebook if you would like.

Join our supportive and welcoming community and find a new state of calm and peace.

What will this include?

*5-6 restorative poses using props (bolsters and blankets) to support the body and facilitate a calmer state within your nervous system.

*Guided Meditation

*Mini reiki for those that would like to receive.

*Relaxing tea and warm towel with lavender during the course of class.

Common Questions:

What is the difference between restorative and Yin? Restorative is about using mindfulness to calm your nervous system and relax your body. Yin is the practice to stretch and engage connective tissues in a more active movement.

What if I am not flexible or “bendy”?
Restorative yoga is the practice of stillness. This practice is accessible to all mobility ranges. Wear your favorite sweatpants or pajama pants. This practice will meet you where you are at in your physical and spiritual journey.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a hands on healing technique with origins from Japan. This promotes relaxation and peace.

Join Mary Jo Burkhard for her in person class, Channeling 2 - Channeling for Others: Aligning Your Frequency, Heart, and Identity as a Bridge for Higher Dimensional Wisdom, at The Reiki Center.

This class focuses on channeling for others and builds on Channeling 1 - The Art of Channeling: Connection to Higher Dimensional Wisdom. Using the foundation of connecting to higher dimensional wisdom, Channeling for Others will expand this to explore both the energetics and the practical of receiving and delivering messages to others.

Channeling for Others will have a lot of practicum time!

Participants will have the opportunity to practice working with partners in class using different modalities.
We will examine the energetics of channeling for others and review the differences and similarities to channeling for ourselves. Participants will build talking points and tools to use in talking about channeling with others. The class will also address the practical and ethical
