As of August 1, 2025 ACOG has made a bold move, and it’s bigger than most people realize.

They’re officially cutting ties with federal funding to protect their right to share evidence-based, unbiased care with women and providers!

In a time where reproductive health is increasingly politicized, this is a reminder of why independent, holistic, and sacred support matters.

This is exactly why doulas, nurses and even future nurses like myself, exist.

To walk with women in truth, care, and integrity.
To hold space when systems fail us.

Hi! I’m Aja 🫶🏽

I’m the founder of Willow & Womb Collective, a full-spectrum doula supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with presence, care, and intention.

I came into this work because I truly believe every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and deeply supported, not just medically, but emotionally and spiritually.

Right now, I’m in the final phase of my labor doula certification, and I’m opening space for three women to receive labor support at a reduced rate as part of this final step in my journey.

If you’re preparing to welcome your baby and want to feel held, informed, and supported — I’d love to walk with you.

Starting September 10th, I’ll be offering labor support to three certification clients as part of the final phase of my re-certification doula training. These families will receive full-spectrum care at a significantly reduced rate while helping me complete my certification.
